3. TRUE crop source

Use the Source Crop tab. Drag crop frames. Corners resize. SIDE and TOP are separated before any wrap.

Use this line for any design, not only UNIREA. Example: for cap height 35 mm and target 9.5 mm from bottom, the line is 25.5 mm from top. Move the artwork or bands until the wanted element sits on this line.

Use this for trial plates: split the sidewall into horizontal belts and shift/stretch only the belt that needs correction. Changes are used by Layout, Printable Blank and 3D.

Flatten / squeeze compresses the side artwork vertically before sheet blank export. Use values below 100% when deep drawing stretches the print height in production.

This is the mode from your screenshot: the full sidewall artwork is squeezed into a narrow horizontal strip for different die-cutting / deep-drawing trials. The mm layout remains real 35 mm, but the artwork can be 6–10 mm high and locked to a defined height.

ILLUSTRATOR PRODUCTION: use only an original SVG source. The production export contains editable vector objects and never silently falls back to PNG.

11. Production export

The ★ button is the final production file. Open it in Adobe Illustrator. Artwork, face and guides are separated into named groups/layers.

Ready. Import an original SVG for true vector production output.

Drag inside selected crop to move. Drag corners to resize. This is the correct place to cut the sidewall away from the cap face.
